"Found my duplicate photos fast"
I used Duplicate Cleaner mostly on my photo folders, how did I end up saving the same pictures three or four times? It found a ton of duplicates, and the preview was really helpful because I could double-check everything before deleting.
The scan took a little while on my big drive, but what else would you expect with that many files? It freed up a lot of space and saved me the hassle of sorting through everything manually. I’d definitely use it again.

"Works okay sometimes, but I wouldn’t fully rely on it"
I gave Duplicate Cleaner a try and it did find some duplicate files without any trouble. But during larger scans, it froze on me twice, which was frustrating 😕. I also ran the same scan again and got different results, so that made me a bit unsure about how accurate it really is. It’s not a terrible tool, but I probably wouldn’t trust it with anything important

"Activation was more hassle than expected"
I bought Duplicate Cleaner and the actual software seems fine so far, but getting the license activated was frustrating. The key didn’t work the first time, so I ended up digging through emails and trying to copy and paste things a few different ways. Support did get back to me eventually, which I appreciated, but it wasn’t exactly quick. Reading between the lines, it feels like the product itself is decent, but the activation process could use some serious smoothing out.

It found my files. No problem there. But on my big drive, it took a while. Longer than I thought it would. Not bad, just not super fast.

"Helpful tool for comparing folders"
I used this to compare two messy folders, and it handled the job quickly. It did a good job finding duplicates and saved me a lot of time. The interface could be a little clearer, but overall it is a solid folder compare tool...

I’ve been using Duplicate Cleaner a bit and I like that it gives you a bunch of ways to narrow things down, like by file type, size, dates, folders, that sort of thing. It definitely helps save time instead of digging through everything manually. Some of the options took me a little while to figure out, but once I poked around it was mostly fine. Overall it works well. I’d give it around 4 stars...

I tried using it on my photo and music drive, which is around 3TB, and it was painfully slow. The scans took so long that I kept feeling pressured to just let it run and hope for the best, but a couple of times it looked like it had completely frozen, so I ended up restarting it.
Maybe it works fine if you’re only checking a few small folders, but with a big library like mine it felt more frustrating than helpful. I spent way more time waiting around than actually cleaning up duplicates, so it just wasn’t worth it for me.

"Pretty easy to figure out"
Duplicate Cleaner was straightforward to use, and I was able to find duplicate files without much hassle. I kind of expected it to take longer, but honestly, once I got going, it was simple. A few clicks, a quick scan, and there they were. Worked fine for what I needed...

"Good options, just takes a minute to figure out"
Duplicate Cleaner Pro worked well for me overall. I liked that there were different ways to choose which duplicate files to keep or delete, so you can really set it up the way you want. A few of the options confused me at first, but after playing around with it for a bit, it made sense.

"Simple layout, no fuss"
I liked how straightforward the interface was. Everything was pretty much where I figured it would be, so I didn’t have to poke around forever just to find the scan options.
The results screen is easy to read too, which is nice when you’re just doing a quick check. It’s not trying to be super fancy or anything, but that’s kind of the point. It just works and makes sense.

I used Duplicate Cleaner a while back, I think it was sometime in March, or maybe April, to clean up a really messy folder full of photos and random documents. It actually found duplicates better than I expected, even when the file names were kind of similar but not exactly the same. It did miss a couple of near-matches, but nothing that caused a big issue. I still went through things before deleting them, which I’d recommend anyway. Overall, it saved me a decent amount of time

I genuinely like the app and it works well for what I need, but the support response time was way too slow. I’m absolutely convinced I could’ve grown a full beard waiting for a reply. Good product overall, but the support delay definitely needs fixing...

"Works, but be careful with it"
It does what it’s supposed to do, and the safe delete controls seem fine overall. Just a heads-up though: make sure you double-check what you’re deleting before you confirm anything. It’s easy to move a little too fast and regret it

"Works Just Fine on Windows"
I’ve been using it on Windows and it’s been totally fine. It installed without any drama, opened normally, didn’t freeze, didn’t crash, and didn’t give me any weird error messages. I tried it for basic stuff, a couple of longer sessions, switching between windows, closing and reopening it, all that kind of everyday use, and I haven’t run into any issues so far.

I had a bunch of old documents sitting around and I knew there had to be duplicates, even if I’d been putting off cleaning them up for too long. This made it easy to find them fast, so I feel like it was definitely worth using.

Not gonna lie, the install took a bit longer than I thought it would, but it wasn’t a big deal. I downloaded Duplicate Cleaner from the site, ran the setup, and everything went smoothly. No errors, no weird popups, and once it finally opened, it worked fine

The scan took longer than I expected, though, and a few of the results weren’t super clear to me. I found myself second-guessing what was actually safe to delete, which made the whole thing feel a little more stressful than I’d hoped.
By the end, I got some space back, just not as much as I was hoping for. It’s not a bad tool, and I can see it being useful, but for me it was more of a small help than a big fix.

I tried Duplicate Cleaner because I wanted to free up some space, but wow, this thing was a real little resource hog during the scan.
Even with just a few folders selected, my laptop started crawling, the fan got loud, and trying to open anything else was a pain. I ended up stopping the scan and just ran it later when I didn’t need to use the computer.
To be fair, it did find some duplicate files, so it’s not totally useless. But the slowdown was too much for me, and on my older PC it felt like this clunky gremlin was doing more harm than good.

"Decent for finding duplicate music"
It found a bunch of my duplicate songs, which was helpful! But it also missed a few, especially ones that had slightly different tags. I had to spend a bit of time double-checking the results... not a huge deal, just something to know. Overall, not bad, but definitely not perfect.
